I had the good fortune to be chosen for the ‘Extreme Makeover’ for Delaware Today magazine.  As part of the process, I was teamed up with Dr. Michael Rosen and his staff.  I might add a team that not only lives in my smile but in my heart.  I will forever be grateful to Dr. Rosen for my bright, beautiful and most importantly confident smile.  I have always considered myself confident but after Dr. Rosen’s work of art was completed I now know confidence is linked to a winning, bright smile.



Not a day goes by that someone doesn’t say, “you have the most beautiful teeth and smile.”  Needless to say, I smile, and then tell them all about Dr. Michael Rosen and his professional staff and how his work has impacted my life.

My only regret is that I didn’t have this done earlier in my life.  I highly recommend this virtually painless procedure and Dr. Michael Rosen.  If it has crossed your mind that you’d like a movie star smile too, don’t let anymore time pass.  You owe it to yourself and Dr. Rosen is the man to do it.

Take it from me, don’t hide your teeth behind your lips any longer, and let your teeth and smile shine, then sit back and enjoy the changes your life will take.  I did and have never been happier to look in the mirror, smile and say, ‘you go girl!’

Choosing Dr. Rosen as a dentist has been a life-changing experience.  In the past six months, I have had preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry to restore my smile.  I was terrified of dentists, needles, and root canals and ashamed that my teeth had deteriorated from lack of dental care.  I researched Dr. Rosen for 2 years until I had an emergency that required immediate attention.  Dr. Rosen and his staff did not make me feel ashamed for the poor condition of my teeth during that first appointment.  Instead, everyone kept a positive outlook for treatment.  Dr. Rosen reviewed all of my dental information and gave the least expensive option, the most expensive option and all other options in between.  He honestly explained all the various treatment options (pros and cons) so I was able to make an informed decision.  He took the time to understand my personal situation (fear of dentists) and assure me that he would do everything possible to make my experience as pleasant as possible.  At each visit, he fully explained everything that would be done that day as well as what would be next.  As each visit came and went, I have become less anxious regarding the procedures.  After each major procedure, Dr. Rosen would take the time to call me at home to see how I was feeling.  He cared about how my treatment was affecting me.

I have one more appointment to complete the final bridgework that will complete my fabulous smile and I don’t know who is more excited; Dr. Rosen, myself, or his staff.  Dr. Rosen, and his caring staff, have restored my faith in dentists.  I never knew how much I truly missed my smile until it was gone; and now I know how lucky I am Dr. Rosen was able to give it back.  I smile every chance I get and tell anyone who will listen who did the wonderful dental work.  Dr. Rosen has not only restored my smile, but he’s restored my confidence and self-esteem.  And that alone was priceless.

When Dr. Rosen approached me about performing a full-mouth reconstruction I was very interested.  I had always been somewhat self-conscious about my teeth and the fact that they were not straight, and as I got older they seemed to discolor.  I was also a grinder and had done considerable damage to my teeth, which made them very difficult to repair when something went wrong.  Dr. Rosen offered me the opportunity to restore my teeth to perfect physical condition and to essentially solve my long standing self-consciousness issues regarding my teeth.

I had been a patient of Dr. Rosen’s for 15 years prior to the procedure and had always found him to be pleasant, understanding, and most importantly, highly skilled and competent.  I would not have undergone this procedure without having absolute confidence in the dentist and his/her skills.  I truly believe that not all dentists are created equal and that a dentist is an artist as well as a medical professional and Dr. Rosen is both.  He has worked hard to hone his skills through on-going professional training at considerable time and expense to himself.  He did not come out of dental school with the skills he has today, but has largely developed his skills through his investment in himself.

It was in 2003 that I had my procedure done.  I would recommend this procedure to anyone who has any of the problems that I had.  The benefits that I have derived from the procedure are strong teeth that allow me to eat any type of food and not worry about breaking a tooth and straight, white teeth that I am no longer self conscious about.

Dr. Rosen has also provided excellent advice to me regarding the other members of my family regarding orthodontics, root canals, and dental implants.  We have always had excellent results from taking his advice.

I would advise anyone looking for a competent, caring dentist to use the services of Dr. Michael Rosen.  I would also state that anyone considering complex, cosmetic dentistry that requires a high level of skill and experience should definitely consider using the services of Dr. Rosen.

Thanks to Dr. Rosen and his team of specialists, my front teeth match for the first time in more than 30 years!  A childhood accident resulted in a crown on one front tooth.  It was redone several times but never entirely matched the other front tooth in color or shape.  Dr. Rosen did a new crown and veneered the adjacent teeth.  I am thrilled with the results.

As I stood at the counter the two ladies waiting on me looked at me and began to smile.  The one young lady began to explain that they had discussed my pretty smile the day previously as I left the office.  Thanks to Dr. Rosen I receive compliments frequently; some are from friends, co-workers and believe it or not strangers.  After growing up with a spacious gap between my two front teeth and feeling very self-conscience of it, comments of this nature just have a way of making me feel wonderful and ready to smile at the world.
